1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Dream Builder Academy website (thedreambuilderacademy.com) and enrolling in any programs or services offered by American Dream Builder, operated by Ashley Abplanalp, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

These Terms of Service apply to all users of our website and participants in our programs. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time by updating this page. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Services

Dream Builder Academy offers wealth coaching and educational programs designed to help individuals and families develop a comprehensive understanding of their financial situation and create personalized wealth-building strategies. Our services include:

• Dream Builder Blueprint: An 8-week structured coaching program combining group coaching sessions, workbooks, and educational materials
• Family Wealth Audit: A complimentary assessment tool designed to help you evaluate your current financial position
• Educational Resources: Guides, workbooks, video content, and other materials related to wealth building and financial planning
• Call Scheduling: Access to book consultation calls with our coaches via Outlook calendar integration

What We Are Not

Dream Builder Academy provides wealth coaching and educational services only. We do not provide:

• Licensed financial advice or investment recommendations
• Legal advice or tax guidance
• Professional money management or investment services
• Securities trading or brokerage services

3. Financial Disclaimer

Coaching vs. Financial Advice

The services, guidance, and educational materials provided by Dream Builder Academy are for educational and personal development purposes only. Coaching is a facilitative process that helps you clarify your goals and develop strategies—it is not the same as financial advice. Our coaches:

• Help you think through your financial situation and options
• Provide educational information about wealth-building concepts
• Support you in creating action plans and goals
• Hold you accountable to your own financial decisions

Our coaches do NOT:

• Recommend specific investments or securities
• Tell you which financial products to buy or sell
• Manage your money or make financial decisions on your behalf
• Provide personalized advice based on your specific financial situation (which would require financial advisor licensing)
• Offer tax or legal advice
• Guarantee any financial outcomes or returns

No Warranties or Guarantees

Dream Builder Academy makes no guarantees, warranties, or representations regarding:

• Financial outcomes, returns, or results from participating in our programs
• Specific results or improvements in your financial situation
• Achievement of specific financial goals or timelines

Individual results will vary based on your circumstances, effort, decisions, and many other factors outside our control. Past examples or case studies do not predict future results.

Assumption of Risk

By enrolling in Dream Builder Academy programs, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with the coaching relationship and your financial decisions. You understand that coaching may identify areas where professional advice is needed and commit to seeking appropriate professional guidance.

4. Program Enrollment & Pricing

Dream Builder Blueprint Pricing

The Dream Builder Blueprint is offered at the following prices:

• Blueprint Self-Guided: $497 (one-time payment)
• Blueprint Group: $997 (one-time payment, or 3 installments of $397)
• Blueprint VIP: $2,997 (one-time payment, or 3 installments of $1,049)
• Dream Builder App: Included for 12 months with all tiers. Renews at $79/year after the initial period. You may cancel app renewal at any time before the renewal date.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Stripe, a secure third-party payment processor. By providing payment information, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method according to your selected payment plan. Dream Builder Academy does not store or have access to your full credit card information.

Enrollment & Access

Upon successful payment, you will receive:

• Immediate access to the Dream Builder Blueprint program materials
• Access to scheduled group coaching calls and sessions
• Access to the program workbooks and educational resources
• Instructions for booking coaching calls or consultations

Access to programs and materials is provided for your personal use only and is non-transferable.

Free Resources

The Family Wealth Audit and other free resources are provided on an “as-is” basis. Participation in free offerings does not obligate enrollment in paid programs, nor does it create a contractual relationship.

5. Refund Policy

Money-Back Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of the Dream Builder Blueprint. If you are not satisfied with your purchase:

• Self-Guided ($497): 14-day money-back guarantee — full refund, no questions asked
• Group ($997): Full refund within 14 days of enrollment if you have not attended more than one live session
• VIP ($2,997): Full refund within 14 days of enrollment if you have not attended more than one coaching session
• Dream Builder App ($79/year renewal): Cancel anytime before your renewal date. No refunds for partial subscription periods.

Refund Process

To request a refund:

1. Contact hello@thedreambuilderacademy.com with your refund request
2. Provide your enrollment date and reason for the refund request
3. Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days of approval
4. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

Refund Limitations

Refunds are not available for:

• Participants who have completed more than 50% of the program
• Refund requests made more than 30 days after enrollment
• Free resources (Family Wealth Audit, free guides, etc.)
• Payment plan installments that have already been applied to program access

All refund decisions are made at the sole discretion of Dream Builder Academy. Abuse of the refund policy may result in forfeiture of refund eligibility.

6. Intellectual Property

Ownership

All content, materials, course content, workbooks, videos, frameworks, strategies, and other intellectual property provided by Dream Builder Academy, including but not limited to written materials, video content, worksheets, checklists, and audio recordings, are owned by American Dream Builder and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Limited License

By enrolling in our programs, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the program materials for your personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes only. This license does not grant you the right to:

• Copy, reproduce, or modify the materials
• Distribute, publish, or sell the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose
• Share login credentials or materials with others
• Create derivative works based on the materials
• Reverse engineer or decompile any interactive content

User Content

If you submit content, feedback, testimonials, or materials to Dream Builder Academy (including in coaching calls, workbooks, or surveys), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute that content for program improvement and marketing purposes, unless you specify otherwise.

7. User Conduct

You agree to use Dream Builder Academy services and website in a lawful and ethical manner. You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Use the services for any illegal, harmful, or deceptive purpose
• Harass, abuse, or threaten any coach, staff member, or other participants
• Share program materials or access credentials with unauthorized individuals
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage our website or systems
• Engage in any form of fraud or misrepresentation
• Post or transmit spam, viruses, or malicious code
• Impersonate any person or organization

Dream Builder Academy reserves the right to immediately terminate access to anyone who violates these conduct standards or any applicable law, without refund.

8. Account & Access Terms

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials or access information provided to you. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether authorized by you or not. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

Access Termination

Dream Builder Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to programs and services:

• If you violate these Terms of Service
• If payment fails or is fraudulent
• If you engage in any illegal or harmful conduct
• If you abuse or harass any staff member or participant
• For any reason at our sole discretion, with 30 days notice

Data Access

Dream Builder Academy retains personal information and program data as necessary to deliver services. Upon termination of services, you may request a copy of your personal data in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

9. Third-Party Services

Dream Builder Academy integrates with third-party services to deliver our programs:

Stripe Payment Processing

We use Stripe to process all payments. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Dream Builder Academy is not responsible for Stripe's policies or performance, though we take measures to ensure secure payment processing.

Outlook Calendar

We use Outlook calendar integration to allow you to book coaching calls. By connecting your calendar, you authorize limited access for scheduling purposes only. Your calendar data is not shared beyond this scheduling function.

MailerLite Email Service

Dream Builder Academy uses MailerLite for email communications, newsletters, and program updates. By enrolling, you consent to receive educational emails and program updates. You can manage your email preferences or unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.

Netlify Hosting

Our website is hosted on Netlify, a third-party web hosting service. Netlify may process technical data as described in their privacy policies.

Limitation of Liability for Third Parties

Dream Builder Academy is not responsible for the availability, performance, security, or practices of any third-party service. If you have concerns about how a third-party service uses your data, please review their privacy policy or contact them directly.

9.5 Dream Builder App Subscription

Included Access Period

All Dream Builder Blueprint purchases (Self-Guided, Group, and VIP) include 12 months of access to the Dream Builder app at no additional cost, beginning on your enrollment date.

Annual Renewal

After your initial 12-month included period, the Dream Builder app renews at $79/year. You will receive a reminder email at least 14 days before your renewal date. You may cancel your app subscription at any time before the renewal date by contacting hello@thedreambuilderacademy.com.

Cancellation

Workbooks delivered as downloadable files are yours to keep. Videos, course materials, and other content hosted in the Dream Builder portal remain accessible while your app subscription is active; if you cancel, access ends at the end of your current billing period. The app provides additional tracking, progress monitoring, and interactive features beyond the core course content.

10. Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties

Dream Builder Academy and all materials, services, and content provided are offered on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of program materials
• The quality or suitability of the coaching services
• That services will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Fitness for any particular purpose

Limitation of Damages

In no event shall Dream Builder Academy, American Dream Builder, or Ashley Abplanalp be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Financial loss or diminished wealth (including investment losses)
• Emotional distress or reputational harm
• Damages arising from your financial decisions or outcomes

Except for claims related to our gross negligence or willful misconduct, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the program or service that gave rise to the claim, capped at $1,000.

Assumption of Risk

You assume all risk associated with using our website, accessing program materials, and implementing any strategies or advice discussed. You understand that your results depend entirely on your circumstances, decisions, effort, and factors beyond Dream Builder Academy's control.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms of Service and all related agreements are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, specifically the laws of the state in which American Dream Builder is located, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms of Service, your enrollment in our programs, or your use of our services shall be resolved as follows:

1. Good Faith Negotiation: First, we will attempt to resolve the matter through good faith communication between you and Dream Builder Academy.
2. Binding Arbitration: If the matter is not resolved within 30 days, any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court. The arbitration shall be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
3. Venue: If legal action must be taken, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the state where American Dream Builder is located.

Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute shall be brought in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.
